Carrot & Parsnip

Ingredients

  • 2 carrots
  • 1 parsnip

Serves

Approx 5 portions

Method

  1. Peel & chop the carrots and parsnip.
  2. Steam the vegetables for about 20 minutes or until tender.
  3. Blend the vegetables to a purée adding a little of the boiled water at the bottom of the steamer or some of your little one’s usual milk to make the purée thinner.

Carrot & Pea

Ingredients

  • 2 carrots
  • ½ oz frozen peas

Serves

Approx 4 portions

Method

  1. Peel and cut the carrots into pieces. Place in a pan and cover with boiling water. Cook for about 15 minutes.
  2. Add the peas and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Blend the vegetables and add your little one’s usual milk to make a smooth purée.

Carrot, Broccoli & Potato

Ingredients

  • 50g broccoli floret
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 large potato

Serves

Approx 4 portions

Method

  1. Peel and chop the broccoli, carrot, potato.
  2. Add all the vegetables into a pan and cover with water.
  3. Bring to the boil, then simmer for about 20 minutes.
  4. Blend the vegetables, adding your little one’s own milk if necessary to make a smooth baby purée.
